"Soto Zen Buddhism in Hawai'i: Our Temples and Our Teachings."
The seed of Soto Zen Buddhism was planted in Hawaii over 100 years ago, and has grown into a unique flower seen nowhere else in the world. In this film, we reflect upon the hard work of the pioneer ministers and temple members. We see how their legacy continues to guide us as we serve our members and give back to the community. We explore our hopes and goals for the future to create a better world for our children. This film’s stories of love and compassion provide us with a deeper appreciation for and understanding of our existence.
