- Proceed south on Hwy 11 or Kuakini Hwy
- Continue south passing King Kamehameha III Rd
- Continue up hill for 3.5 miles.
- Just after the merge of Hwy 11 and Hwy 180, Daifukuji Soto Mission is located on the left side of the Mamalahoa Hwy at 79-7241, just before Teshima Resturant in Honalo
From South Kona (South):
- Proceed north on Hwy 11 (Mamalahoa Hwy)
- Pass through the towns of Captain Cook, Kealakekua, and Kainaliu.
- Daifukuji Soto Mission is located on the right side of the Mamalahoa Hwy at 79-7241, just after Teshima Resturant in Honalo
